To the members of the BHS Class of 1978
Welcome to our class BLOG. Last night at Abuelos in Plano, Texas, the Reunion Planning Committee met and had a wonderful meal together and discussed the 6/15/08 reunion in hopes of building on our success and making future events even better. Carole Sandel Barnett was ill and could not make the dinner. Carole Hall Sprague joined the group and wants to assist with future plans. We would welcome any class member that would like to join the Reunion Planning Committee.
We had a very productive dinner & meeting and are already making plans for a class gathering at Deana's house during the 2010 all-school reunion. In addition, we selected the site for our 35th Class Reunion to be held in 2013. It will be at the Tanglewood Resort on Lake Texoma in Pottsboro, Texas. (http://www.tanglewoodresort.com/) Tanglewood will be a larger venue that will open up a greater number of possibilities for our reunion.
Please subscribe to this blog so you can stay up to date on the future plans of the class. In addition, please post up items of interest to the class. New marriages, new additions to the family (probably grandkids), promotions, etc... In order to reconnect as a class and to keep the momentum going, we need to open up the communication lines.
This BLOG plus the Classmates.com is a good start. Additional ideas are being considered as well.
Be on the lookout for the reunion follow-up questionnaire. It is being finalized and will be emailed and/or mailed to you shortly. Your input is very important to the future planning events of our class so please take the time to complete and return it.
